Data Collection on this Website and in the Plugin

Who is responsible for data collection?
Data processing is carried out by the operator of the website and the plugin. You can find the contact details in the “Responsible Party” section.

How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected, on the one hand, by you providing it to us (e.g., when signing up for the launch notification or in contact requests). Other data is collected automatically or after your consent by our IT systems (e.g., technical data).

What do we use your data for?
To provide and operate the marketing website, to send launch notifications, to ensure technical stability and security, and – with appropriate consent – for analysis and marketing purposes. The mixfellow plugin analyzes audio locally on your computer; mix and reference audio are not uploaded to this website as part of the current product design.

What rights do you have?
You have the right at any time to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, as well as the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Vercel (Hosting & CDN)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Personal data such as IP addresses, access data, and technical metadata are processed.

Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online offering).

A data processing agreement has been concluded with the provider, including the use of standard contractual clauses.

Brevo (Launch Notifications)

For double opt-in confirmation and sending the launch notification, we use Brevo (Sendinblue). Processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

On the marketing website (mixfellow.com), we use the following tools, exclusively after your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, insofar as they are configured in Google Tag Manager and allowed by your cookie settings:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – For analyzing user behavior and website performance
• Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) – For conversion tracking and remarketing on Facebook and Instagram
• TikTok Pixel – For conversion tracking and remarketing on TikTok
• Google Ads – For conversion tracking and remarketing across Google advertising network
• Hotjar – For user behavior analysis (planned for future use)

Usage data, IP addresses, and device information may be processed. There may be a transfer to third countries (e.g., USA). The transfer is based on standard contractual clauses.

You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie settings.

Implementation is via Google Tag Manager (GTM). In particular, the services listed above (e.g. Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel) may load when configured in GTM and permitted by you. In addition, Vercel Analytics may load after you grant analytics consent.

Your consent and preferences may be stored in a first-party cookie with the domain .mixfellow.com.

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and perform various functions.

Technically necessary cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Cookies for analysis and marketing purposes are only set after your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser automatically transmits. These are:

• Operating system used
• Referrer URL

This data is not merged with other data sources.

If you contact us by email or form, your information including the contact details you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request.

If you submit the “Notify me” form on the website, we process your email address so we can send you a message when mixfellow becomes available. Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent).

After you submit the form, we send a confirmation email through Brevo (Sendinblue) (double opt-in). Your address is added to our launch list only after you click the confirmation link. Until then, it is not kept on the sendable launch list. We use that list for a single launch notice when mixfellow becomes available. We do not use this list for ongoing marketing newsletters. You can withdraw consent and ask to be removed at any time by emailing info@mixfellow.com. We delete your address from the list when you ask, or after the launch notice has been sent and a short follow-up period has passed.

The website currently does not offer user accounts or online checkout. If purchase, licensing, or account features are added later, this policy will be updated before those features go live.

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons. We point out that data transmission over the Internet can have security gaps and complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or legal retention obligations exist.

Contact emails are typically kept for the duration of the conversation and a reasonable follow-up period. Launch-notify addresses are kept until you ask to be removed or until after the launch notice has been sent. Cookie consent records are kept until they expire or you change them.
